Summary
Personal Statement
Although educated in engineering, I have taken advanced degrees in economics and business and have since then moved on to the social sciences (moral and political philosophy, economic history, and social-cultural psychology), while maintaining a multidisciplinary approach in anything I do. But while specialized study and research are important, I always aim for practicality and application which is why I continue to inform my knowledge in these disciplines with business and technology, especially in finance and systems. I consider myself to be an eclectic observer of the social arena, able to discuss advanced ideas in social sciences while capable of working with and understanding what it is that drives people, institutions and societies. I would like to affiliate with institutions and individuals with a similar bent, rigorous but applied in their approach to problems.
