Dr. White is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Studies at the University at Buffalo-SUNY where he teaches management of library and information agencies and public libraries. His research interests include organizational performance measurement, organizational intelligence, leadership, information use by organizational leaders in strategic decision making, and public libraries.
Prior to coming to the University of Buffalo, Dr. White worked in the Department of Library Science at East Carolina University where he served as Interim Chair (2008-2009) and Program Director (2006-2009), earning tenure and promotion in 2011.Before coming to the academy, he worked as an administrator in retail management and in professional and administrative roles in public, academic and State libraries.
