For almost 20 years, I have been teaching non-traditional students how to get connected to the college composition environment. I can teach students how to write proficiently for college assignments as they master the elements of grammar, the rhetorical modes, and the basic skills to survive the college writing environment. In addition to learning the basics of grammar, my students learn how to read and think critically about the injustices of society.
